1. About Mundus Cleaning

Mundus Cleaning Company (“Mundus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services in Los Angeles, CA and surrounding areas. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website at mundus-cleaning.com and all services we provide.

By accessing our website or booking any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Mundus provides cleaning services as described on our website, including but not limited to home cleaning, deep cleaning, office cleaning, Airbnb turnover, move-in/move-out cleaning, post-construction cleaning, eco-friendly cleaning, and pressure washing.

• Services are performed by background-checked, insured Mundus employees or vetted independent contractors.
• We reserve the right to refuse, reschedule, or cancel service if a property presents unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• We do not clean biohazards, pest-infested areas, or items requiring specialized remediation.
• Service scope and pricing are confirmed at the time of booking. Significant changes to the scope on-site may result in adjusted pricing with your consent.

3. Booking and Scheduling

• Bookings may be made via our website, phone, or email and are confirmed upon receipt of booking confirmation from Mundus.
• You are responsible for ensuring access to the property at the scheduled time. If our team cannot access the property, a lockout fee may apply.
• We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled time window. Occasional delays may occur due to traffic or prior job extensions.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• More than 24 hours notice: free cancellation or rescheduling with no charge.
• Less than 24 hours notice: a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost may apply.
• Same-day cancellation or no-show: up to 100% of the service cost may be charged.
• Mundus reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to staff illness, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances with as much advance notice as possible.

5. Payment

• Payment is due at or before the time of service unless other arrangements have been agreed in writing.
• We accept major credit cards and debit cards, processed securely through Stripe.
• Prices quoted are in U.S. dollars and do not include applicable taxes where required.
• Recurring service clients may be placed on automatic billing at the agreed interval.
• Overdue balances may incur a late fee and may result in suspension of service.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with the quality of a cleaning, notify us within 24 hours of service completion and we will return to re-clean the areas of concern at no additional charge.

• The re-clean applies to areas included in the original scope of service.
• Dissatisfaction must be reported within 24 hours. Reports after this window may not qualify for a complimentary re-clean.
• The satisfaction guarantee does not apply to cancellations or to situations where access was limited during the original clean.

7. Property Access and Security

• You authorize Mundus and its staff to enter your property for the purpose of performing the agreed cleaning services.
• Please secure or store valuables, fragile items, and pets before our team arrives. We are not responsible for damage to improperly secured items.
• All Mundus employees and contractors are background-checked and have signed confidentiality agreements. Keys and access codes are handled under strict security protocols.

8. Liability

Mundus carries general liability insurance. In the event of verified property damage caused by our team, we will work with you in good faith to assess and address the situation.

• Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of damaged items, not to exceed the value of the cleaning service performed.
• We are not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from fragile or improperly secured items.
• Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of the service date.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mundus's total liability in any matter arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid for the service in question.

9. Referral Rewards Program

• Referral credits are applied to your account upon the referred client completing their first paid service.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or combined with other promotions unless specified.
• Mundus reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time with reasonable notice.
• The loyalty reward (8th cleaning free) applies to recurring clients after 7 completed paid visits of equal or greater value.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Mundus Cleaning Company and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our written permission.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our website or services to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law or regulation.
• Submit false information or impersonate another person.
• Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website or services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
